Dr Lin. Approximately 8 months ago I saw a doctor for the first time with
what I though was a urinary tract infection or kidney stones. Pain in the
lower back and throughout the urethra region. To make a long story short I was initially diagnosed as having prostatitis. Yes, my perineum area does hurt and it feels like I have a golf ball in the perineum area when my wife and I are "together". I have been on and off Cipr?, Lev?quin, Bactr?m, Fl?max, and probably a couple of others that I can't think of right now. I am currently on C?pro and if I get off of it for a day I end up in pain again (perineum, prostate, urethra). Sometimes my testicles feel like they are in a vice. Had 6 weeks of therapy for chronic pelvic floor syndrome (my anus/perineum area does tighten and relax all of the time). My only relief came from not working (thus not sitting for 2 weeks). Once I returned to my normal schedule of a 1/2 hour car ride, 2 hour train ride, and 7.5 hours sitting at work the pain returned promptly.
