When my boyfriend and I first got together it was nonstop being together and sexual conduct without actual sexual intercourse (I had contracted HPV from my ex, and he understandably did not want to get the same disease). I am on the Depo shot (for 1 calendar year as of Oct. 3) and I've been taking my pro-thyroid meds for ± 15 days and I have practically zero sex drive. When I do get turned on and I am able to please my boyfriend with actual sex, my vagina simply dries out in the middle of what we're doing, even though I'm turned on in my mind. And it's not a matter of the guy, I've been with others besides him and none have given me an orgasm at all, but this man really turne me on both physically and mentally. Also, I would feel the need to initiate sex with other partners, but not as much with him, and I love him. I just don't know what's going on; he's my best friend, he's incredibly attractive, and I just f-up when it comes to intimacy all of the sudden. BACKGROUND: you should know that I have bad/ maybe average(??) self-esteem issues and that (yes, I know that I'm an awful person) had sex with my ex -- DRUNK -- while I was spending all my time with the man I am talking about. I am just completely puzzled as to my problem -- Even if I physically want to have sex it just doesn't work, and I end up feeling inadequate for the man I want to make happy.
