Only the dopamine, GABA, norepinephrine, epinephrine and sympathetic nervous function, cortisol, oxytocin and prolactin change respond to sex immediately.
This is because an elevating prolactin and cortisol after orgasm or ejaculation will start to lock up the testicular function if the oxytocin elevation can not overcome the lockup effects.
Ejaculation / orgasm usually burn serotonin into melatonin and discharge GABA in semen. These processes will take about 7-10 days since the testosterone and DHT production in the post-ejaculation rely on the adrenal glands, skins, brain and internal organs, but not on the testicular function for exhausted persons
